Zahraniční cesty
Meziparlamentní konference SZBP/SBOP ve Varšavě (8. 4. 2025)Ve dnech 23. – 25. března 2025 se uskutečnila pravidelná meziparlamentní konference ke Společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politice a Společné bezpečnostní a obranné politice EU, která byla pořádána v rámci polského předsednictví ve Varšavě.
Za výbor pro obranu se konference zúčastnili místopředsedové výboru Josef Flek a Pavel Růžička, za zahraniční výbor posl. Jarmila Levko a Viktor Vojtko a za Senát členové výboru pro zahraniční věci, obranu a bezpečnost Pavel Fischer, Tomáš Jirsa a Tomáš Čzernin.
Program konference zahrnoval čtyři panely: Priorities and challenges concerning the CFSP/CSDP in the new institutional cycle. Developing a new security framework for the European Union, Protecting and securing the European Union. Hybrid threats as an external factor destabilising Europe, Strengthening European defence in the context of Russian aggression against Ukraine. European Union Armed Forces - a need or an alternative? a Security in the Baltic Sea Region. Russian hostilities – attempts to change borders and circumvent EU sanctions. Mimo to proběhla také debata o aktuálním tématu, která se věnovala současnému stavu transatlantických vztahů.
